Polyframe NorwichPolyframe Norwich, part of the Polyframe Group, acquired the assets of Aspen Windows in 2011 and began trading in March of that year. It had no customers, an empty order book, a handful of people, and ageing machinery. By the end of the third year sales were over £10 million and are still growing.

In the three years since Polyframe Norwich was formed its growth has been impressive and consistent. Six hundred frames a week were manufactured at the end of the first trading year. The following year it rose to 1,400 frames a week and in 2014 it reached 3,000.

Polyframe invested heavily in the Norwich factory, buying three key machines for more than £1.5 million, and it’s gone to great lengths to ensure products meet the high quality standards Polyframe customers expect.

The Norwich factory now employs over 100 people and makes all Polyframe’s Rehau S706 and Edge windows and doors for a nationwide customer base.

Nick Dutton, Polyframe CEO, comments: “I think we’ve shown that the market will respond to a quality product delivered with excellent service and comprehensive support. We’ve helped many small-to-medium sized fabricators stop fabricating so they can concentrate on selling and installing. It’s something Polyframe specialises in, and this growth suggests that the way we do it works very well.”

Fabricators who are thinking of stopping fabricating to sell and install should contact Peter Dyson, Polyframe Sales Director on 01422 398969
